CAR AND DRIVER HONG KONG EDITION
LAUNCHES CAR AND DRIVER CLASSIC SUPPLEMENT

Car and Driver Hong Kong edition, published by Hachette Filipacchi Medias, the world's largest consumer magazine publishing group, announces the launch of its supplement CAR AND DRIVER CLASSIC in April 2005.

Built upon the expertise of the Car and Driver editorial team and the full support from Classic Car Club of Hong Kong, CAR AND DRIVER CLASSIC is devoted to arouse readers' interests in rare classic car and share some unique and interesting personal stories attached to those classic cars, with the key focus on providing readers an upscale car magazine which can rarely be seen in the local market.

"Today, we always prefer new technologies, new electronic gadgets and even new cars rather than old ones. We are living in a world which rarely can arouse our tradition and memory. That is why we publish CAR AND DRIVER CLASSIC," said Edmond Lau, Editor-in-Chief of Car and Driver Hong Kong edition.

The magazine will feature classic cars of European or US brands from early 20th century to 1970's which still exist in Hong Kong. Car owners' interviews including their fun stories and personal emotions towards their cars will also be covered. Besides, classic and high-end lifestyle products will be featured together with classic cars, in the stylish way that Car and Driver is renowned for.

The magazine will be launched as a supplement to the Car and Driver Hong Kong edition main book April 2005 issue at the end of March.

Car and Driver is the world's leading automotive magazine published by Hachette Filipacchi Medias. It was first launched in US in 1961 while Hong Kong edition was launched in 1986, and successfully maintains a leading position in car magazine market. Car and Driver Hong Kong edition is now the best circulation monthly car magazine in Hong Kong.
